Ian is a cultural hacker whose art has exhibited in New York, Paris, Cambridge, Chicago, Hong Kong, Vancouver, Istanbul, Cyprus and Montreal. As a software engineer, his work has twice been featured in Wired Magazine and has contributed to the garnering of Gemini, Emmy and Webby award nominations. He holds a patent in mobile software, has taught new media at the Emily Carr University of Art & Design and was the editor of one of the first online cultural magazines. One of his most surreal experiences was giving a speech at the Massachusetts State House, announcing the creation of a new country. Currently Ian writes a blog, Station , and continues to produce work as a graduate student at MIT's Program in Art, Culture & Technology with Krzysztof Wodiczko.
